Reagents: Black Pearl

Black pearls are relatively rare, and to be usable in magic they must be perfectly spherical. They can be ground into a fine powder—a fate as ignoble as it is potent for such a beautiful pearl.

Black pearl is a common reagent in spells that require travel, range, propulsion, or projection.

Alchemical Uses

An alchemist can brew a Refresh potion using three of these reagents. At higher skill levels they can also create Total Refresh potions using five black pearls.

Magical Uses

Black pearls are frequently used in spells that involve magical transportation, as well as in certain combat spells.
