Fifth Circle spells cost 14 mana and have a 1.5-second delay, except summoning spells which require an additional 6 seconds of delay.

To cast Fifth Circle spells you need a spellbook, the appropriate reagents, and a meaningful amount of Magery skill.
Blade Spirits
Be careful with area spells in Felucca: a murderer (red player) or criminal (gray player) can exploit this to give you the criminal flag (you’ll appear gray), allowing them to kill you without increasing their kill count.

Incantation: In Jux Hur Ylem

Tip: If you need to move through an area quickly, use this to open a gap in a magical field (Fire/Poison/Energy) instead of waiting for it to expire and risking damage. It also helps avoid unintentionally harming another player.

Tip: Amuse friends with a disguise or use it where your real name could cause trouble. Note: it does not change clothing, so people may still recognize you.

Tip: A solid defensive spell versus mages, though it weakens your Physical Resist.

Incantation: In Jux Sanct

Tip: Fast cast and low mana cost help interrupt enemy heals or spells. High Intelligence also increases Mind Blast’s damage.

Incantation: Por Corp Wis

Tip: Paralyzing your foe can buy time to escape or meditate. Tamers use it while taming to avoid damage—note the pet will initially be significantly weaker after tame. Pair Paralyze with delayed-damage spells like Explosion, or follow with Energy Bolt/Flamestrike for a lethal combo. Many players carry trapped pouches to break Paralyze, so it’s most effective against the unprepared.

Tip: Strong both offensively and defensively versus multiple attackers. Level-4 poison walls in faction/guild wars always inspire caution.
